Good afternoon and Happy Friday! The June Essentials by Ellen release is now available, exclusively at Ellen Hutson! I have two cards to share using the new release!
My first card is inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and I used a variety of blue cardstocks to paper piece the Abstract Mountain die set together! From light to dark I used scraps of Bazzill Icy Mint, Lawn Fawn Moonstone, Hero Arts Lapis, Lawn Fawn Blue Jay, and Concord & 9th Midnight cardstocks and then adhered them to a white card base.
I die-cut the moon and ‘you’ sentiment from Gold Glitter cardstock from Tonic Studios and splattered the night sky with Finetec metallic gold paint. Finally I cut the sentiment from All About You apart (!) and then stamp and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I love the feel of this card and would love to recreate it in lots of different colors!
My second card is a little different from my usual style but I kinda love it! I die-cut the Arches dies from a variety of peach, coral, and gold cardstock and adhered them together to create a modified rainbow. I stamped a sentiment from Good Day with black ink. I kept the background simple by die-cutting the A2 Piercing Plate panel from black cardstock and splattered it with metallic gold paint. I love the texture and dimension it adds without any thread needed!
And that’s it! Head over and shop the new release and let me know your favorite products!! Thanks so much for stopping by today and have an amazing weekend!
And don’t forget to check out the fun Rainbow themed video hop I’m participating in today! You can find that video here.
