Good morning! I’m popping in with a quick card using the adorable United We Flourish collaboration set between Ellen Hutson and Avery Elle, G’Day Mate! If you follow me on instagram you saw that I recently colored this whole set for Kathy Rac’s The Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge and figured it was time to use them for a card! 🙂
I started by blending wild honey, abandoned coral, and picked raspberry distress oxides onto white cardstock and then sprayed it liberally with shimmer spray. I let it dry while I worked on the rest of the card. I used the nesting ovals infinity dies from Hero Arts to cut an oval panel from a piece of white cardstock to create a frame for my koalas! I also stamped the sentiment from G’Day Mate onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I die-cut it with the stitched fishtail dies to create a fishtail banner.
Once the background was dry I used foam mounting tape to adhered the oval panel over the distress oxides. Then I tucked the koalas into the scene with foam mounting tape and ATG adhesive. I adhered the sentiment and then finished the card with a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins! 🙂
