Good morning!! I am so thrilled to share that I am a guest designer for the Ellen Hutson July 2017 newsletter and am over at The CLASSroom today with a project using alcohol inks along with the new Essentials by Ellen Mermaid’s Tail! Here’s a sneak peek of one of my cards but please head over to The CLASSroom for more! 😉
Lots of sparkle, shimmer, and shine…definitely my style! If this is your first time visiting my blog I hope you’ll stop by again! You can subscribe to my blog via the sidebar or follow me on Youtube or Instagram! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!
The awesome ladies over at Ellen Hutson have generously given me a $50 gift certificate to share with one of my lucky readers! Head over to The CLASSroom to see both cards and then come back here and tell me which one you prefer! 😉 Leave a comment before 11:59 PM EST on Friday, July 21st and I’ll announce the winner next weekend! Good luck!!

I love the pink ombre because it’s different . . . outside the box. However blue is my color so I am drawn more to the blues. They are both mermaidliicious.

I really like both cards. I’m just starting to experiment with alcohol inks and it was helpful to see how you created the backgrounds for both cards. It appears I will need more supplies as well!

I am just in love with the mermaid tail card. That alcohol ink water is just brilliant and I can’t wait to try it!

Gorgeous cards, Jessica! This makes me want to get my alcohol inks out and play! Very pretty.

Oh Jess, thank you for sharing your talent! What a treat to see such colorful, action loveliness this morning. I love the motion in the waves and the way both tails look shimmery and love, love, love the way you artfully arranged the ‘bubbles!’ I’d have taken a picture too! You make me want to buy the whole kit and caboodle and try my hand at making one! As to a favorite, for my eye the blue on blue, but for the fun of it, the sequin bubbles are a heart giggle! Thank you for sharing!

I like the one with the red tail because of the contrast against the background. Very pretty 🙂

What beautiful cards! I love them both-so hard to choose! The pink tones are pretty and the trail of sequin bubbles are awesome, but I have to pick the blue toned tails as my favorite. I guess my love for blue and green tones wins out!

Both cards are gorgeous. Since you sre making us pick. I will choose the first card as my favorite. It has more mermaid tails.lol.
Kim Perkins says
Both mermaid cards are beautiful. The colors and sequin bubbles are perfect. Great job. If I have to pick one, it would be the first one.

Absolutely stunning. I always love seeing your beautiful creations and these cards are no exception. Hard to choose one card over the other, but the red/pink/orange/yellow tail just pops. The addition of the of the sequin bubbles is brilliant.

Thank you for sharing these Jessica! Both cards are beautiful but the trail of sequins with the pink tail is my favorite. I think this will be one of all time favorite stamp sets!

Your colour combinations are amazing, and the small dots of metallics really add so much. Have to get to my craft room and try them. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise.

It’s hard to pick, but your second card has a little edge over the first. Love, love, love the sequin bubbles.
Sue McRae says
I saw your card over at Ellen Hutson and love how you used the alcohol inks on the background! Both cards are so fun but if I had to choose I’d pick the second one with the sequin bubble trail, such a clever idea!
Jan says
Love both cards but the blue is my favorite.
Flo says
I love that you did all that with alcohol inks. The all blue card with the action wobbler is a great card but I think my favorite is the pink tailed one.

I love both cards!!! Love the action wobbler in the first card, and the pink tail + sequin bubbles in the second card. <3 Thanks so much for sharing about alcohol inks, they are something I've always wanted to try but kinda afraid of 😛

I love both, but I really love the blue and green one! Great job, Jessica!!

I love them! Gotta drag out the lonely forsaken alcohol inks so I can play with them again. Favorite? Number One – love the blues.
