Good morning!! I am so thrilled to share that I am a guest designer for the Ellen Hutson July 2017 newsletter and am over at The CLASSroom today with a project using alcohol inks along with the new Essentials by Ellen Mermaid’s Tail! Here’s a sneak peek of one of my cards but please head over to The CLASSroom for more! 😉
Lots of sparkle, shimmer, and shine…definitely my style! If this is your first time visiting my blog I hope you’ll stop by again! You can subscribe to my blog via the sidebar or follow me on Youtube or Instagram! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!
The awesome ladies over at Ellen Hutson have generously given me a $50 gift certificate to share with one of my lucky readers! Head over to The CLASSroom to see both cards and then come back here and tell me which one you prefer! 😉 Leave a comment before 11:59 PM EST on Friday, July 21st and I’ll announce the winner next weekend! Good luck!!

wow, nice job on both…I think I like the multiple tails and the wobbler, but I also love the sequins and waves on the other. Can I just pick both?!
Florence Pangelinan says
I love the illusion of waves you created, but more than that, the sequins grouped together like bubbles. Nowadays, the addition of bling always seems to attract the eye directly to them, which is also true of the “bubbles” on the card.
Deb H. says
I love how you used the sequins to make waves from the mermaid’s tail. Now I am on to check out some of your other posts. Thank you for sharing.

Jessica, these are both gorgeous! Love the wobbler on the first card, but I think the second is my favorite because those sequin bubbles are just stunning!!!!!!
Lindar C says
Your cards are beautiful! I love this stamp set with just the mermaid tail.

I’ve never used yupo paper but this post REALLY makes me want to try. I’m partial to the first card- colors and the design are great! It really is such a cool stamp/die set too. Love what you’ve done with it.
Nancy Penir says
So gorgeous, impossible to pick a favorite! Love the watery effect! Definitely going to give this a try!

You’re kidding…you mean I have to choose? Nuts! All that lovely, deep sea motion you created with the alcohol inks and Yupo…and the embossing on the mer-tails. Well, if I have to, I’ll pick the one with the single tail and the sparkly tail trail you created. Besides I’m sick of adulting today, too…no, wait…oh, the other one with all the beautiful tails. No…AAARG! I CAN’T DECIDE!

Love them both! I never know what to do with alcohol inks, so thanks for the inspiration!

Gorgeous mermaid cards! They look so magical! My favorite is the version with the pink tail.
Melissa Friedrich says
Beautiful cards, hard to pick a fave (like picking a favorite kid!) but I think I like the orange/pink mermaid tail one because of the sequins “bubbles”, brilliant! Oh and the tutorial on alcohol inks was awesome, love the “runny” background, both are such vibrant color and I love that!
Tracy says
Jessica, you are BEYOND talented! I love your cards & Ellen Hutson! 💖
Jessica Luberda says
Love them both, but I will pick the pink one with all the sparkly bubbles coming from the tail ✨
Diane B says
I adore your backgrounds. They are stunning. I love that you used alcohol inks for the background, and on vellum for the die cuts. It’s really hard to choose one as they are both spectacular. However, the sequin bubble trail pipped the other card at the post for me.

congrats on your feature in the classroom. your backgrounds are STUNNING!
Mary Schaffer says
Hard choice but the pink tail with all those sequin bubbles wins for me.
Julie Reincke says
I love the second card best. But they are both so beautiful!!
Renee says
I love both of the cards but am partial to the greens and blues in the first card. Such a beautiful color combination and the background you created is spectacular. Need to use my alcohol inks more!

Both are amazing! I think I prefer the blue/purple card
