Your cards are gorgeous! If I HAVE to pick I’d pick the one with the pink and orange tail just because I like the bright color combo against your background! Love your technique! Fantastic job on both!
Barbara Baxter says
I’m normally a pink person and don’t particularly like blue — but in this case, I LOVE the blue tail! The tail and the water are gorgeous! And this is the best stamp of a mermaid(‘s tail) t hat i have seen! Thanks Ellen Hutson

Hi Jess ~ Both cards are completely stunning!! (I got the Mermaid Tail in the mail the other day but haven’t really had time to play like I’d want to.) IF I had to choose one, I’d have to say the one in all blues with the 3 tails. You’re incredibly creative and I’ve always found inspiration on your site and in your videos. I hope you’re having an awesome weekend! ~HUGS~

Wow! Both your cards are beautiful. I love the alcohol ink backgrounds and tails. I am definitely going to try this. These cards make me happy.

A beautiful job on the backgrounds Jessica, a great technique to showcase the mermaid tails. I love the red one best as it shows the other colours as well.
MichelleW says
WOW Jessica! They are both gorgeous but your second card is my fave, love the colours and the placement of your sequins, WOW.
Nadine Bontatibus says
Love them both! I have Yupo paper and alcohol inks but been a little afraid to use them, not now! Thanx for the great cards!
SusanME says
I’ve really got to try this! I bought some yupo paper months ago, and it’s just sitting there…unloved… If I were to create something even half as beautiful as you have, I’d be ecstatic! And I must say, I haven’t been all that taken with the myriad mermaids out there, but this tail by Julie Ebersole is wonderful! And you have done it justice!

I love both of your cards. They are beautiful. Thank you so much. I just start to try out alcohol ink. I love to learn more about them.

WOW!…..WOW! Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! I recently got some alcohol inks and have been watching some videos to get started with them, but this is the best tutorial I have seen. What you did was FABULOUS !!!!! Everything goes perfectly with the mermaid theme. I love them all but my fav is the one with the sequins trailing up from the mermaid tail. THANK YOU again 😍😊💜💛💚💙!

So so beautiful. Gorgeous card. Thanks for sharing.

your backgrounds are outstandingly beautiful. If you have ever been to Silver Springs Fla. you know there really are mermaids.
Renee Milner says
They are both gorgeous cards, and I really like the sequin “bubbles” on the red/orange mermaid tail version! Am going to have to pull out the alcohol inks to try out the beautiful water look you shared.

Love each of these cards! Such details! Love the mermaid tail!
Amanda Dellamano says
These backgrounds are gorgeous and perfect for a water scene! I have never used alcohol inks before but your techniques has me intrigued! Thanks for the great inspiration 🙂

What a hard decision!!!! I love both of your cards. I love the blues and greens on the first card with the wave action alcohol inked background, but I think the second card barely beat the first one. I chose the second one because of the sequined bubble trail of the mermaid on the second one. So pretty! Thanks for the inspiration. 😀
Rebecca Ednie says
I love your backgrounds! But I love the sequin wave the most. So beautiful!
Tracy TImm says
I would not be able to choose between the backgrounds – both gorgeous! I think i do prefer the blue tail – I love the sequins AND the bubbles. Thank you for the opportunity to win 🙂
Lindsay w says
Sorry just can’t decide, they are both amazing!!
Miriam Prantner says
Those cards are just WOW! Absolutely gorgeous, if I had to pick one, it would be the first, but they are both beautiful!
Natalie Elphinstone says
They’re both beautiful but wow…. do I love the sequin bubbles on the second one!!
cal8007 says
absolutely gorgeous cards!! I haven’t played with alcohol inks in a while, and it looks like I’ll have to break ouf my yupo paper and play some. I love the sequin bubbles and, is that a wobble under one of the tails? So cute!
Thanks for the chance to win the gift card,
Hugs,
Carmen

OMG, both cards are just beautiful, Jess! Thanks so much for sharing the how-to details with the alcohol inks in your step by step photos, loved seeing that process! I have to say the 2nd card is my fav, with the terra cotta/raspberry/salmon colored mermaid tail and all the sequins looking exactly like bubbles, I have to remember that and try it, just gorgeous!! Thanks!

I’m struggling for a word to describe how amazing these cards are. It is hard to decide which is my favorite, but I’ll say the blue one.
Nancy says
Hi Jessica,
I love your mermaid cards and alcohol background creations. I love the feeling of inspiration these two pieces gave me. Both bubble techniques make me smile, as well. It’s hard to pick one over the other. i’m a blue phenatic, but choose the mermaid card with the rasberry color added for the contrast…….I think. Praises to your talent & must sign off befor the indecision takes over yet again. LOL
