I’m still in love with the Avery Elle More Stories stamp set. The fox is so adorable (and very versatile)! After taking the Online Card Class for Copic Markers I’m feeling a little more comfortable with my coloring abilities so I colored both foxes with copics and then fussy cut them for each scene.
For the first card I watercolored the sky with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors then went over it with a Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil and pearlescent embossing paste. I die cut the watercolor piece and snowy hill with Avery Elle dies and then assembled the card.
A few weeks ago I participated in the AEIheartUChallenge and the winner was this beautiful card. I LOVED Kim’s creation and wanted to create something similar; however, instead of using colored cardstock I wanted to try to create a night sky with distress inks. I blended tumbled glass, salty ocean, chipped sapphire, and black soot ink and spritzed it with pearlized water for a soft shimmer.
So I’m continuing to stock up on my Christmas card supply and I have a few more ideas for these foxes that I hope to share soon!
