Good afternoon! The summer catalog release from Hero Arts is now available and today we’re hopping to celebrate!! I’m sharing a few cards using my favorite products from the new catalog release! You can find all of the new release products HERE!
My first card uses the gorgeous Summer Blooms Color Layering Stencil set! I used some of my favorite bright tropical Hero Arts Core Inks to create this design. I generally used two colors for each object (flower or foliage) concentrating the darker colors towards the center. For some I just used a lighter hand to achieve the lighter shade. You can find the colors I used in the supply list below!
Next I used the new Together Stamp and Cut to create my sentiment. I die-cut the ‘together’ word from black glitter paper and then heat-embossed the rest of the sentiment onto black cardstock and trimmed it down to a thin label. I used liquid adhesive for the die-cut word and adhered the label sentiment with foam mounting tape so it would fit over the word.
My second card uses the new Weaving Fancy die. I used a similar color scheme of Hero Arts cardstocks to create this card. Finally, I finished it with a sentiment die-cut from the new Lowercase Luggage Alphabet Fancy dies and gold glitter cardstock!

Took me a minute to figure out how the weaving die worked. I have done that with paper strips and this seems like it would be so much easier!
