Good afternoon! The summer release from Hero Arts is now available and today we’re hopping to celebrate!! I’m sharing a few cards using my favorite products from the new catalog release! You can find all of the new release products HERE!
My first card features the new Color Layering Barrel Wave! I started by blending a background of Pale Tomato, Soft Canteloupe, and Butter Bar ink. Then I stamped the layers of the wave in Tide Pool and Soft Pool ink and die cut it with the coordinating die. I curved the sentiment from the set around the wave and stamped it onto the background with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I finished the card by adding the surfing girl heat-embossed with clear embossing powder.
My second card features more ink blending the the fun Sunray background cling stamp! I started by blending lemon drop and creamsicle reactive ink onto an a2 panel. Then I stamped the Sunray cling stamp with embossing ink and heat-embossed it with gold glitter embossing powder. Finally I added a sentiment from the Love You stamp and cut XL and the new Message Strips stamp and cut to finish the card!
My final card features one of the new looking glass die sets that I absolutely love!! First I die-cut each layer of the Looking Glass Windmill Tulips and colored them with copic markers. I die-cut the top layer from a top-folding card base and then adhered the other layers behind it. On a separate piece of cardstock I stamped the Tulip Field Heroscape using Green Hills, Fresh Lawn, Pale Tomato, and Raspberry Jam ink. Then I blended a background of Summer Sky and Indigo ink. I die-cut the background sky with a square infinity die and then added the Tulip Field heroscape and trimmed off the excess. I adhered that inside the card base so that it would peek through above the die to create a complete scene!
And that’s it for me! Head over and check out the rest of the summer catalog release and then make sure to hop along for lots of inspiration!!
To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away three $50 gift cards as a prize to three blog readers selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win! Saw your card on the live release, and fell in love with the pink “sky” – living right across the street from the ocean, I’ve seen that pink and it’s rarely depicted in pictures. Beautiful

All three of your cards present different styles of card fun. I like the curved waves sentiment in your first card. The Barrel Wave stamp and die are a must have for me. I liked the serenity of the tulip/windmill card. You chose a great sentiment for this card. The sun card was just that…FUN. Thanks for sharing.
