I created and shared this elegant black and gold holiday card earlier this weekend and today I’m sharing a more traditional Christmas card!
To start I stamped the pretty Presents Background cling stamp onto white cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I stamped the gift box from In for the Holidays onto white cardstock, colored it with copics, and then die-cut it with the coordinating die. I also stamped the sentiment from In for the Holidays onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.
I figured out where I wanted to place the gift box and blended a little strawberry ink over the embossed background. Then I added the gift box and sentiment banner with foam mounting tape. Finally, I added a layer of clear lacquer over the ribbon and a few sequins from the Poinsettia mix to finish the card!
To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win! If you win and have already purchased the kit you will be reimbursed! Please your comments before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, November 11th at 11:59pm! Here’s a list of all the stops on the hop:
