I shared this bright and cheery card on the Hero Arts blog this weekend:
And today I’m sharing a card using a more vibrant use of the aqua glimmer ink and more of the pretty dies in the kit!
To start I mixed the aqua metallic glimmer ink included in the kit with dark teal liquid watercolor and used a flat brush to paint it onto a panel of watercolor paper focusing the most concentrated color on the bottom of the panel and letting it fade towards the top. It is so shimmery when it catches the light!
Next I die-cut the envelope from white cardstock and the butterflies from vellum. I adhered the envelope to the card and tucked in a sentiment from the kit. Then I carefully folded up the wings of the butterflies and adhered their bodies to the card panel. I added a thick layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle to each butterfly for extra shine. Finally I finished the card with a few teal enamel dots!
And that’s it! Head over and pick up your My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today!
To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win! Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, December 12th! You should have arrived from Janette and Julie is your next stop!
Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the hop!!

Beautiful cards as always! The first one is still one of my favorites from the peeks. The second is very gorgeous with the fading background and light butterflies.
