I shared this colored pencil card on the Hero Arts blog this weekend:
And today I’m sharing a clean and simple card using some of the smaller kit images!
I just love that tiny intricate bird in flight and wanted to focus on him! I started by stamping him and the sentiment onto a 4″ by 5.25″ panel of white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed him with clear embossing powder. I also stamped the little flower on a scrap of white cardstock. I colored them both with copic markers and then die-cut the flower with the coordinating die.
I adhered the flower with a little foam tape and adhered the panel to an A2 panel of Periwinkle Hero Hues cardstock to finish the card! Simple but meaningful!

A single layer card with colored pencils on kraft cardstock, and it’s just gorgeous…but it was the little bird that made me say “Awwww!” out loud as I scrolled past it.
