I shared these cards using the kit over on the Hero Arts blog this weekend:
And today I’m sharing a rainbow-tastic shaker card using several of the add-on products!
I am head over heels for this fun Crafting Border with Frame Fancy Die and I decided to turn it into a shaker card! To start I die-cut it it with white cardstock and then colored some of the images with copic markers. I also stamped the sentiment from Knitting onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a thin label. I added crystal glaze to the paintbrush tips, paint palettes, knitting needles, and scissor blades and set that aside to dry while I worked on the background.
I blended candied apple, squeezed lemonade, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, blueprint sketch, and wilted violet distress oxide inks onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock and splattered it with water. Once everything was totally dry I adhered a sheet of acetate behind the frame and added a layer of foam tape around the edges. Then I filled the shaker with sparkling clear and iridescent clear sequins, microbeads, and small clear beads and sealed it up with the distress blended background. I added the sentiment over the acetate and then added accents with my spectrum noir clear sparkle brush. Finally I finished the card by adding a few sequins to the crafty frame!

I love these cards! And although my favourite is the frame I was really excited to see your first 2 cards. I am not much for colouring, as I can’t seem to shade very well and also have limited markers. So it was great to see some non-coloured items that turned out so ptetty!

The cards you had already shared are fantastic, but the shaker card goes beyond with all of the goodness and the fun ability to shake it and make things happen! Yes, I love cards with movement/activity.
