Good afternoon! It’s the first Monday of the month which means it’s release time for the June My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts!! To start I watercolored a pattern using the add-on Jungle Mist liquid watercolor. I applied the color heavily at the top of the panel and diluted it down with clean water until it faded almost to nothing. Once it dried I trimmed it down to an A2 panel and adhered it to a white card base. I die-cut the Jungle Frame fancy die with pitch black cardstock and adhered it over the watercolor panel.
Next I stamped the flowers, toucan, and leaf from Hello Toucan with versafine and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. I colored them with copics and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped the sentiment on white cardstock with the Intensified ink cube included in the kit! I layered the bird and flowers with foam mounting tape and regular adhesive and adhered them to the card. Then I added the sentiment with foam tape to finish the card!

This card is amazing, Jess! I really like that frame, and it goes perfectly with the rest of the kit! I love the black, so that the pelican really stands out and pop’s off the card. Stunning! I love all the coordinating dies with this months kit too. I always use my stamps with coordinating dies the most.
