Here’s what I created:
I absolutely ADORE this kit! I haven’t even begun to explore the add-ons because I’ve been having so much fun with the kit items! To start I blended dusty concord distress ink onto a piece of watercolor paper. Then I spritzed it with the gold metallic spray and set it aside to dry. Next I stamped the little boy on the moon and the star with versamark, heat-embossed them with gold and silver embossing powder, and then used coordinating dies to die-cut the images.
I die-cut the window die from white cardstock and arranged it over the distress inked panel to see where I wanted to stamp my sentiment. I curved the sentiment on my acrylic block, stamped it with versamark, and then heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Next I added acetate behind my shaker window and then added a double layer of foam mounting tape around the window. I filled my shaker with the sequins included in the kit and adhered the distress inked panel. Finally I tucked my boy into the window frame and adhered him and the star with ATG adhesive to finish my sparkly, shimmery shaker!
To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop before August 13th for the most chances to win! The colors you chose portray the fantasy of the dies/stamps in a magical way. Really enjoyed this card.

The effect of the mist is great. I like how it shimmers to add the illusion of depth and dimension. This card is art and pure joy.
