I created and shared this coffee-colored card earlier so today I’m going a little bright and colorful! 🙂
I created a long and skinny card with a little bit of masking for my stacked cups! To start I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4″ by 8.” Then I stamped the first mug on the top using intense black ink. I also stamped it on a post-it note and fussy cut it. Then I masked the top mug with the post-it note and stamped the next mug below. I repeated the masking process and stamped four additional mugs. I also stamped the little accents that (to me) make it seem like my cups are wobbly! 😉
Next I masked off the top part of the card and blended a little weathered wood distress ink onto the bottom to ground my cups. Then I colored each mug with a trio of copics to create a little shading. Finally I added a heat-embossed sentiment flag on black cardstock to finish the card! Generally that’s the amount of coffee I need to get through the day (though I tend to avoid the five-high stack!) 😉
To celebrate the release Hero Arts is giving away one kit as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win! If you win and have already purchased the kit you will be reimbursed! Please your comments before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, August 12th! Here’s a list of all the stops on the hop:

Love, love, love this gorgeous stack of mugs!!!
Love stacked cup cards. Plus, the 3 lined stamp near some of the cup handles gives movement to the card.
Stacking the cups to create a tall card is such a great idea! I’m looking forward to trying this when my kit arrives.
Really like all those cups! Clever! Does it take that many to get you going in the morning? :>)
love all things coffee
This is adorable! I love what a little masking can do! The colors are great, and they do look wobbly!
Oh my goodness! This card is wonderful! I will be giving this masking technique a try. And I love your coloring!

What a fun and colorful card. Love the stack of tipsy cups. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like a great kit. I seem to be as addicted to coffee stamp sets as I am to coffee itself! Thanks for sharing a creative way to use this kit!

Love the stacks of cups! Terrific 🙂
Rainbow of cups… so pretty.
Love those brightly coloured cups!
I love cards that are not A2. Just the size itself adds a lot. Your stack of cups is so cute and reminds me of my on cups in my cabinet. This ki5 is every coffee lovers dream. The possibilities are endless.
Your card is very eye catching! Bright & Adorable. Thank you for sharing.
Cute card and that sentiment is my life!

Love this card!
So colorful! I like that the cards on the blog hop are not all kraft and brown.
I love the little oops marks, where the cups could possibly fall over, so so cute.
Great card! I love the colors and the balancing action!
