And here’s what I created using the From the Vault Real Poppy wood-mounted rubber stamp!
I love using generation stamping to get different contrast and shading with a single stamp! For the background I scribbled over the stamp with two red and two green tombow markers, spritzed them once with water and then pressed them to watercolor paper. I held them in place for a few seconds to give the ink time to soak in and then lifted the stamp. Without cleaning off the stamp I pressed it to the paper again. This time, when I lifted the stamp, I had a lighter impression. I stamped some of the flowers off the panel to give more interest to a simple design. Then I scribbled the same red markers on an acrylic block, added a bit of water, and splattered the ink across the panel.
While the background dried I stamped the sentiment from From the Vault Flowers onto pitch black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down to a thin label and adhered it to the panel with foam mounting tape to finish the card!
Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend! Don’t forget to check out the awesome sale at Simon Says Stamp that includes all Hero Arts-branded products including the new release!!

Lovely card, Jessica. I have tombow markers so I appreciate another way to get the most from them. These poppies are delightful.
