VIDEO: Quick Distress Oxide Spray Background and World Cardmaking Day Sales

Good morning and Happy World Cardmaking Day!  A few months ago I finally tried the distress oxide sprays that I’ve been hoarding for years and really had a lot of fun using them!  I wanted to create a Halloween background using something other than ink-blending (shocking, I know!) so I decided to reach for the distress oxide sprays again!

I created a video for today’s card that you can watch below or over on my YouTube channel!  And don’t forget to subscribe to my channel and turn on notifications so you won’t miss any of my future videos! 😉

I chose a teal, blue, and black palette for my card but you could also go with more more traditional Halloween colors with yellow, orange, and black!

It’s easier to watch the video for all the details and layers of the background but essentially I sprayed distress resist spray, distress oxide sprays, water, spectrum noir glitter ink, and brushed pewter spray to create my background!  It’s the perfect spooky little scene for my ghost from Honey Bee Stamps!
