Good morning! I have a fun and magical card to share with you today featuring some of my most favorite critters ever! 🙂
This month I’m taking part in Kathy Rac’s #thedailymarker30day coloring challenge (over on instagram) and I’m determined to actually use the images I’m coloring each day instead of letting them pile up! 😉 So this weekend I colored these adorable unicorns from Hello Bluebird’s Unicorn Tales with copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies!
Next I blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Tumbled Glass, and Shaded Lilac distress oxide inks onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. I splattered it with water and then spritzed it with shimmer spray. While that was drying I die-cut the rainbow and clouds from After the Rain Scene and Grassy Knoll dies and colored the rainbow with copics. I also die-cut a few vellum clouds, too. I stamped the sentiment from Unicorn Tales onto one of the clouds with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I trimmed the distress oxide panel to 3.75″ by 7″ and then adhered the clouds over the panel layering the vellum clouds and rainbow underneath the white clouds. I added my unicorns with foam mounting tape and adhered the little stars with liquid adhesive. Finally I added spectrum noir clear sparkle to the unicorns and rainbow to finish the card!
I have one more unicorn who will pop in later this week but for the moment, thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
