Hello Fall (just a little early!)

Good morning! After a run of 90+ degree days we had a gorgeous breezy Saturday in the low 60s and it really made me crave the coming autumn days! Fall is definitely my favorite season and the beautiful weather gave me a good excuse to break out the adorable new Hello Fall set from Waffleflower!

I just love the image of the jumping fox and I thought it would be fun to have him pounce on my sentiment! 🙂 I stamped the sentiment onto kraft cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I stamped the bottom layer of the fox with spiced marmalade distress oxide ink and the top layer with SSS intense black ink.

Next I stamped the bottom layer of the leaves with fossilized amber, fired brick, and wild honey distress oxide ink. I blasted it briefly with a heat gun to dry the distress oxide ink and then stamped the top layer with versamark before heat-embossing it with gold embossing powder. I love the fox with the gold and warm fall colors on kraft cardstock. And I’m officially ready for apple cider, falling leaves, and cooler temperatures! 😉 Thanks for visiting, happy Monday, and have a fabulous day!
