Good morning! I am so honored and thrilled to share a secret I’ve been keeping for a little while! I am joining the Creative Team at Hero Arts! Eeeek! I’ve been pinching myself ever since I received Jana’s invitation and I cannot wait to get started! To celebrate, I created a card to say hello! 🙂 And don’t forget to stop by the Hero Arts blog to meet the other new Creative Team member! 😉
And I discovered something new in the process…the Hero Arts hybrid inks blend gorgeously on cardstock! To begin I blended Orchid, Crimson, and Mulled Wine hybrid inks onto my cardstock with a blending tool. Then I flicked it with a little gold spray and set it aside to dry. Next I die cut the City Skylines from black cardstock. I pressed a versamark pad over the bridge die-cut and then heat-embossed it with Brass embossing powder. Once my background panel was dry I adhered the skyline and adhered the bridge with foam mounting tape. I liked the brass embossing powder so much that I wanted to find another way to use it on my card. I took a few diamond embellishments, smooshed them into my versamark pad, and then heat-embossed them with brass embossing powder to create matching metallic embellishments.
Finally I used the Luggage Tag Alphabet to stamp my sentiment with Intense Black ink and then adhered my colorful panel above! If this is your first time visiting my blog I feel like this is a fairly good representation of my style: colorful with just a little bit of sparkle! 😉 I hope you’ll stop by again and I look forward to sharing Hero Arts creations with you very soon!
I have two Hero Arts stamp sets to send to one lucky commenter! Please leave a comment and let me know what techniques or types of cards you’d like to see from me! I’ll pick a winner on January 5th, 2017 so please leave your comment before 11:59PM EST on January 4th!
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Congratulations! What a fabulous company to be asked to represent. Such groundbreakers in the world of stamps. Different ways to use the same stamp set different ways would be a super thing for me to learn. So I can get the most use out of a set. Thanks for asking!

Jess, my number one favorite is the girl and the dog. I lost my Irish Setter, Knobby Stiles, this year (2016) so that card really hit home. The mood of this card is perfect. Your colors are awesome. About five of your cards hit the favorite category. Shiny and bright. I feel good about life when I see your work/designs. Thank you.
