Hi everyone and welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Trinity Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop! Our design teams have come together to share some amazing inspiration featuring Heffy Doodle and Trinity stamps products, and there is a prize up for grabs, too!
Here’s what I created!
This is definitely a softer color palette than I’m used to but I wanted to work with something soft and more muted. To start I placed the Candy Store stencil from Heffy Doodle on a piece of white cardstock and blended it with Spun Sugar distress oxide ink. Then I shifted the stencil down slightly and blended Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink onto the stencil. I ended up with a darker small stripe where the colors overlapped and it looks much more complicated than simply blending over a stencil twice! 😉
Next I stamped the gorgeous Love You Bunches floral arrangement from Trinity Stamps onto white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I colored it with a few pale pink copics and lighter neutral gray copics. I added a few darker touches of pink and then die-cut it with the coordinating die. I used the second to largest Stitched Rectangle die from Heffy Doodle to cut my stencil paneled and then adhered that to a white card base. Next I adhered my floral arrangement and trimmed off the overhang. Finally I stamped a sentiment from Heffy Doodle’s Hello Everyone on white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die. I die-cut the shape three more times from white cardstock and layered them together for a thicker sentiment and then adhered that to the card panel. Finally I applied a thick layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle to the flowers to finish the card!
And that’s it! 🙂
Trinity Stamps and Heffy Doodle will respectively be giving away 25$ and 25£ vouchers to their stores! The winner will be chosen randomly and announced on Tuesday, March 24th on the Heffy Doodle and Trinity Stamps Blogs blogs.
