Good morning! I’m popping in to share a quick clean and simple floral card featuring the beautiful Botanical Borders 2 set from Ink Blot Shop! I just love the Botanical Borders series and Tifany has a new set with even more pretty flowers!
I kept it simple by stamping the poppy border across a panel of white cardstock. I colored it with copic markers and then added a soft background with shades of blue. I used the colorless blender to fade out the blue slightly above the flowers. I trimmed the panel down to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered it to a white card base.
Then I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down to a thin fishtail banner and adhered it to the panel with foam mounting tape. I drew in a little stick to hold my banner and then finished the card by adding black glaze to the centers of the poppies!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!

So sweet, and I love that little flag! I need to look through my stamps and see what I have that could work to CASE this card. 🙂
