Less than a month to go! - all the sparkle

It’s hard to believe that by this time next month, we should be eating chinese take-out while we sort through boxes in our NEW HOUSE! In the last two and a half months we’ve seen the lot go from dirt to this:

We’re in the home stretch now! This week they’re finishing up interior paint, installing lights, and then staining the hardwood floors. I believe next week we’ll move into the cabinet installation (where they’ll have to wipe the drool off the floor as I stare lovingly at my new kitchen!) and then the last two weeks should be the tile and carpet installation, hardware installation, final inspection, and closing!! Eeek!

This is a little late but since I finally (FINALLY!) decided on a paint scheme for the house I figured I’d go ahead and share it:

All the paint colors are from Sherwin-Williams…the predominant color is Lazy Gray with trim in Extra White. Our downstairs rooms will be Greek Villa with the same trim and the upstairs main bath will be Breathless (it goes beautifully with the granite we chose!). And finally, our front door will be that gorgeous blue Commodore!
