Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re challenging you to create a card based on our inspiration board! You can use the colors or the images to inspire you! And here’s what I created using the photo of the fall leaves as my inspiration:
I started by coloring the images in Jump for Joy with copic markers and then fussy cut them. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and set them aside while I worked on the rest of the card. First I watercolored the background with mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers, and tumbled glass distress ink. I splattered it with water droplets and additional peacock feathers distress ink. While that was drying I die-cut the Leafy Tree Backdrop: Portrait from Armoire paper from the Knock on Wood collection. I also die-cut the Stitched Tree Borders from Sunflower, Chili Pepper, and Fake Tan cardstock.
Once the background was dry I created my scene! I adhered the stitched tree borders to my background and then adhered the Leafy Tree Backdrop over it. Finally I added my leaf pile and critters and stamped the sentiment!
And now it’s your turn! We want to see your Lawn Fawn projects! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing Monday!
