Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re challenging you to create clever packaging ideas! With the holidays approaching we’d love to see your ideas for packaging treats, gift cards, and more! Here’s what I created:
I love the gift card holder and thought it would be fun to make a little pop-up scene to surround it! I started by stamping the bear and penguins with copic-friendly ink and colored them with copic markers before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. Next I die-cut several of the stitched hillside borders from white cardstock to create snowy mountains. I blended tumbled glass and salty ocean distress ink onto the middle of a piece of 5.5″ by 8.5″ cardstock. Then I scored the center of the paper and adhered the gift card holder to the center. I stamped the sentiment onto the inside of the card.
Next I adhered the stitched hills behind the gift card holder and layered them to create a little dimension. Then I added the penguins and bear. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the front of the card but I kept it simple by adding the Fa La La die cut from dark red cardstock and one copic-colored penguin!
And now it’s your turn! We want to see your Lawn Fawn projects! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing Monday!
