Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we want you to create a card using our gorgeous wintery photo for inspiration!
Isn’t that a gorgeous photo! Later this week I’ll share a card using just the colors as my inspiration but today I’m using both!
To start I blended Butter, Ballet Slippers, and Moonstone Lawn Fawn ink onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock to create a sky. Then I die-cut the Forest Border die with white glitter cardstock and trimmed along the stitched line. I die-cut two hills with vellum die-cut the smaller one with the Stitched Trails heart die before scoring the ends. I folded the flaps behind the panel and adhered them behind the panel so the adhesive wouldn’t show. Then I adhered the forest border behind the hill to show the break between the sky and the ice.
Next I stamped the bear from Beary Happy Holiday with manatee ink and colored him with copics for a no-line look before die-cutting him with the coordinating die. Then I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment once with manatee ink and then directly over it with versamark. I heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder and trimmed it down to a fishtail banner. I adhered the bear and sentiment with foam mounting tape and added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the bear’s scarf and skates!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
