Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and I know this is going to be a super popular one! It’s the reason I first discovered Lawn Fawn: their HAPPY LITTLE CRITTERS!!!
Was I right? I am so excited to see all of your entries for this challenge! Here’s what I created:
This card is dedicated to my awesome friend, Susan! She has taught me SO much about taking selfies and I always feel like she’s a little voice in my head whenever I try to take one…”all about angles!” 😉 And yes, I often take selfies where I cut off the bottom of my face (it’s possible it’s intentional…ha!).
Anyway, I started by blending picked raspberry, worn lipstick, and tattered rose distress oxide ink onto a large piece of strathmore bristol cardstock. I splattered it with water and spritzed it with iridescent spray before die-cutting it with the Selfie Frames. I also die-cut the same die with white cardstock for the frame. Then I trimmed the rest of the blended panel to an A2 panel and adhered the new Polka Heart background cut from white cardstock over it.
I stamped the elephants, mouse, and phones from Elphie Selphie and colored them with copics before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I arranged my scenes in each photo frame and then stamped the little ‘click’ and lines onto the panel. I adhered the two frames over the heart panel. Then I combined the sentiments from Sweet Friends and Elphie Selfie and heat-embossed them onto black cardstock with white embossing powder. I trimmed them down to thin labels and adhered them with foam mounting tape!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what your happy little critters!!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
