Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it’s a fun one!
And here’s what I created:
Much to Jenn Shurkus’ chagrin my favorite weather is SNOW! 😉 Ha! And I have all fingers and toes crossed for at least one good snow storm this winter! 😉 So I thought I’d make a card celebrating my love for all things snow! I started by stamping the little raccoon from Winter Skies and colored him with copics before die-cutting him with the coordinating dies. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to his scarf. I also die-cut the Stitched Hillside dies from silver glitter and white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the tropical set (ha), Life is Good, with versamark on one of the hills and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder. And finally I die-cut a bunch of snowflakes from the Mini Snowflakes and Stitched Snowflakes with white cardstock.
To create my background I blended Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, and Blueprint Sketch distress oxide ink onto a tall panel and splattered it with water and iridescent shimmer spray. Then I added splatters of white acrylic paint and let it dry. Once it was dry I trimmed it down and adhered it to a white card base. I layered the stitched hills and then added my snowflakes. Finally I tucked my raccoon into the winter scene so he could enjoy the snowfall! 😉
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
