Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re challenging you to create a card using our mood board for your inspiration! You can be inspired by the images, colors, or both for your projects! I used the adorable kittens and some of the colors for my inspiration!
To create my card I started by die-cutting the Wonderful Window die with watercolor paper and then used my Daniel Smith watercolors to paint the window, window box, and tulips. I stamped the cat from Meow You Doin’ with versafine on the same watercolor paper and heat-embossed him with clear embossing powder. I watercolored him to resemble the kitten from the inspiration board. Next I did a light background wash using a pale pink watercolor and then adhered my window over the background. I tucked my cat behind the window and used foam mounting tape to adhere the window box and flowers to the window. Then I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.
To finish my card I adhered the sentiment with foam mounting tape and added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the tulips!
And now it’s your turn! We want to see your projects using our mood board as your inspiration! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous Monday!
