Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it is such a yummy one! 😉
Lawn Fawn has a bunch of fabulous food-themed sets and I decided to create a card with one of my favorite summer sweet treats: s’mores!! Here’s what I created!
To start I stamped the s’mores and their faces from Sweet Friends with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copics and then fussy-cut them. I also stamped three hearts, colored them with copics, and die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next I stamped the sentiment from Love You S’More onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to thin labels. Then I masked off the top of my panel and blended a little shaded lilac distress oxide ink onto the panel to ground my s’mores. I added the s’mores with foam mounting tape and then adhered the sentiment with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. Finally I added my three hearts for a little pop of pink!
