Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it is sure to be a popular one!!
Here’s my take on the challenge!
I’ve been watching Friends re-runs recently while I craft so Joey’s famous ‘how you doin’?’ line was in my head when I was deciding what to use for this challenge! I just love those cute kitties and thought they’d be perfect for the challenge theme! I started by stamping the cats and accessories with versafine and heat-embossing them with clear embossing powder. Then I colored them with copic markers and die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next I die-cut the Fancy Lattice Backdrop die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white card base with liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a thin label. Finally I just arranged my cats around the sentiment and adhered everything with a mix of regular and foam adhesive! I love the subtle pattern of the tone on tone background and how it gives the card a little more interest!
