Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it’s a fun one!
It’s easy to overlook your die collection but Lawn Fawn has some absolutely fabulous dies that can either be used in conjunction with stamps or all on their own. Here’s what I created!
To start I created my background by blending Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. I splattered it with water and white gouache and set it aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card. Next I did a lot of die-cutting! 😉 I die-cut the Happy Mail mailbox, the Mini Wreath twice, and the Stitched Snowflakes from white cardstock. Then I used copic markers to color the mailbox and wreath.
I adhered the two wreaths together and then cut them apart. I carefully stretched them apart and then wrapped them around the mailbox. I used foam mounting tape to adhere the mailbox to the card for a little dimension and then fluffed the wreath around it. I added my berries and bow to the wreath and then tucked in the little envelope. Next I scattered the snowflakes across the panel and coated them with the glitter pen. Finally I stamped a sentiment from Winter Wavy Sayings and die-cut it with the Simple Wavy Banners. I adhered it with foam tape to finish the card!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!
