Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it’s sure to be a popular one!
Here’s what I created!
To start I blended a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock with chipped sapphire, blueprint sketch, salty ocean and tumbled glass distress oxide ink. I splattered it lightly along the tumbled glass and salty ocean edge. Then I blended tea dye and gathered twigs distress oxide ink onto a scrap of bristol cardstock and die-cut it with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I adhered it to the blue panel to create the look of a shoreline!
Next I stamped a bunch of images from Christmas Fishes and Here We Go A-Waddling with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copics and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I added a few accents with a white gel pen.
Next I stamped my sentiment onto the water and sand with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I added my critters and adhered them with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. Finally I added dots with a white gel pen and a posca paint pen to create the look of bubbles and foam in the water. I added a little crystal clear glaze around those dots and sprinkled it with prisma and chunky glitter for a little extra sparkle! Now my penguin and fish choir is ready to start their holiday concert! 😉
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!
