Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it’s a beautiful wintery palette!
I decided to focus more on the colors of the inspiration board and here’s what I created:
The Valentine’s release from Lawn Fawn is now available and I just had to use that adorable Stud Puffin set as soon as it arrived at my house!! To start I stamped the puffins, fish, and hearts from Stud Puffin along with the sandy hill from Life is Good and grasses from Gleeful Gardens with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder. I colored them with copic markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and spectrum noir clear sparkle. Then I stamped the sentiment with versafine, heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder, and then trimmed it down to thin labels.
Next I die-cut waves using a variety of colored cardstocks in the shades of the inspiration board. I also die-cut the stitched hearts onto a panel of dark navy cardstock for my background. Next I started building my scene by layering the waves around the birds and their little island. I also tucked the grasses around the island. I adhered the puffins, hearts, and sentiment with foam mounting tape and finished the card with a few more accents with a white gel pen!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
