Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and I can’t wait to see how it inspires you!!
And here’s what I created!
With all the current craziness in the world I just wanted to create something encouraging and cheerful and I think this works nicely with the sketch challenge! To start I blended my backgrounds onto scraps of Strathmore bristol cardstock. I used tumbled glass and salty ocean distress oxide ink on two, chipped sapphire and faded jeans on one, and chipped sapphire and black soot on the last. Once they dried I die-cut them with the inside of the Magic Iris die. Next I die-cut the images for each circle using the Spring Showers dies and the Shadow Box Card Rainbow Add-on dies! I die-cut some from cardstock and some from glitter cardstock and blended a little ink onto the cardstock for more depth!
Then I built each scene on the circles and trimmed the excess off. I arranged them on a panel of white cardstock cut to 4″x5.25″ and adhered them. Then I adhered that panel to an A2 panel of rainbow patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine Remix pad. Next I added a sentiment heat-embossed on black cardstock from Rain or Shine Before & Afters. Finally I added a few touches of glitter pen and crystal glaze to finish the card! During these difficult times I hope you remember that there is a rainbow coming! 🙂
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
