Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and it’s sure to produce some fantastic cards! I can’t wait to see all the gorgeous summery cards you will create!! 🙂
And here’s what I created!
So I imagined that I wasn’t staying at home this summer but instead was swimming in crystal clear turquoise water near an island somewhere with mermaids and fish! 😉 And of course I’d want to document the vacay and share it with a friend!
I started by stenciling several pieces of cardstock with the Ocean Waves stencil using distress oxide inks in tumbled glass, peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon, and blueprint sketch. I trimmed one down to an A2 panel for my card front. Then I die-cut another panel using the Pivot Pop-Up dies and trimmed three more down to fit the polaroid in the Magic Iris Camera Add-On set!
Next I stamped a bunch of images from Mermaid for You and Ocean Shell-fie and colored them with copics before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I also stamped the sentiments using Milo’s ABCs, Wavy Sayings, and Oliver’s Stitched ABCs. I used apricot cardstock for the stitched alpha sentiment. Then I created my three polaroid scenes and adhered them together.
Next I die-cut the Magic Iris Camera Add-On using white, storm cloud, and apricot cardstock. I added a few touches with copic markers and then adhered the camera together, adding the interactive polaroid for a fun touch!
Finally I built the Pivot Pop-Up using my custom sentiment and stenciled panels and added the two polaroids! I finished the card by adding accents with a white gel pen and nuvo crystal glaze.
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!
