Good morning and welcome to the September 2017 release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous autumn stamps and dies and they’re all available right now! I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire September release! That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything! There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post! Today I’m sharing several Halloween cards I created for this release!
My first card uses FaBooLous and the Ghost Shaker die! I started by die-cutting the ghost from silver glitter paper and vellum. Then i stamped the pretty eyelashes with versamark and heat-embossed them with a sparkly black embossing powder. I adhered the vellum ghost over the silver glitter ghost and added a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle over the vellum.
Next I stamped the sentiment from FaBooLous onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I swiped a versamark pad across the black cardstock and heat-embossed it with a silver and white sparkly embossing powder. Finally I adhered the ghost using an action wobbler to create a silly, interactive card! 🙂
Next I created a super CAS card using the Snarky Thanks set with tiny images from the FaBooLous set. And then I created a vegan version for my friend, Lisa! 😉 I stamped the sentiment from Snarky Thanks and then added the little spider. I used a ruler and a copic multi-liner to add a few fun accents to make my spider scene come to life! 🙂 And if you can’t read my handwriting, the bottom card says ‘thanks for being the one to rehome the spiders.’
Finally I stamped the large Boo from You’ve Been Booed using a light grey pigment ink. I decided to use the same ‘o’ for the word but there’s also an ‘o’ with a spider! I trimmed the panel down and adhered it to a black card base. Finally I stamped the sentiment from You’ve Been Booed onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down to a label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape.
That’s it for day 2! Tomorrow I’ll be back with some Thanksgiving inspiration! 😉
You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below! Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire September release! Good luck!

These are awesome cards !!! First of all the black and white colour scheme all along is great, it’s one of my favorite color combo. Then, on the first card, I really love the idea of swiping a Versamark pad and embossed the marks, it really gives an astonishing effects !! I might steal you this idea at some point. On the second cards, i really REALLY love the one for your vegan friend. First it’s an adorable attention from you and second it’s fun to leave the original word so she can see how you’ve personalized the sentiment for her : super super cool !! And finally, I’m a huge fan of that You’ve Been Booed set and choosing a shade of grey is totally appropriate. In conclusion : awesome job !!!!

These are all so great Jessica. I really love the first card with the cute ghost, love his glittery eyes. I got a tonne of ideas here today for the cards I need to make for my DIL & sister who have b-days on Oct. 30th & 32st. Super sweet cards and I was seriously out of ideas not to mention very limited Halloween stamps. TFS!
