Good morning and welcome to second day of the March release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’re introducing some gorgeous spring and Easter stamps and dies and they’re all available right now! I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire March release! That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything! There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post! Today I’m sharing a shaker card using the beautiful Bouquet of Roses set! 😉 But first here’s a quick look at the entire release!

And here’s what I created today:
When I saw the So Very Kind die I knew I wanted to make it into a shaker. And I thought it would be fun to combine it with the pretty floral arrangement from Bouquet of Roses! I started by stamping the flowers onto white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I colored the bouquet with copics in varying shades of pink and sage greens! Once I was done coloring I die-cut the So Very Kind die from the center of the panel reserving all of the pieces. I laid the die-cut panel over a piece of white cardstock and carefully inlaid all of the pieces onto the white cardstock and adhered them with liquid adhesive.
To create my shaker I adhered acetate behind the sentiment and built up a frame of two layers of foam mounting tape around the sentiment. Then I filled it with pink seed beads and sparkling clear sequins. Finally I carefully lined up the back panel and pressed it to seal the shaker! I love the dimension of the shaker with the die-cut pieces adhered behind the shaker elements!
And that’s it for day 2! I’ll be back tomorrow with a few Easter projects!! 🙂
You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below! Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire March release! Please leave comments by 11:30 PM EST on 3/18/18! Good luck!
