I fell head over heels for the gorgeous Best Mom stamp set and dies! That big flower is so pretty!!
I couldn’t stop stamping petals to make my flowers! I started by stamping a bunch of them in shades of pink and coral with grey and khaki foliage. I stamped the flower centers in yellow and black and then die-cut everything!
For my first card I stamped the plaid background from Brushed Plaid with a light warm grey ink and then layered my flowers and foliage over it.
I stamped the sentiment from Best Mom on black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed that down to a fishtail banner and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape.
My second card uses a similar layout with a few color changes!
For this card I stamped the background with khaki ink and used the yellow centers of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment from Hand Drawn Happiness onto vellum with versamark and heat-embossed it with black embossing powder. Then I die-cut the vellum with the fringe scalloped tag die and adhered it to the card with vellum adhesive!
For my last card I broke out my felt stash and played with the Spring Wreath die set!
I’ve never used felt before but now I understand why people find it so addicting to make felt flowers! I die-cut the flowers using shades of coral and pink and then added grey sequin centers with a little black thread. I also cut the leaves from two shades of grey felt.
I die-cut the Hello word die from grey felt and black cardstock and adhered them together. Then I die-cut the Dotted Chevrons cover up die using white cardstock and layered it on a white card base. I adhered the felt flowers and sentiment using a hot glue gun and then added a few dark grey sequins for a little extra shine!
And that’s it for day 1! I’ll be back tomorrow with another project to share! 🙂

WOW Jessica, well I can honestly say, I cannot pick a fave from these 3 cards today. (I usually will have 1 that jumps out at me.) Not this time! These are all so beautiful. The large flowers are SO pretty and the Brushed background is so subtle yet makes a big impact. The Dotted Chevron does as well!
Beautifully done as ever!

Just lovely! I adore a sentiment on vellum so I really love that.
The brushed plaid will be a sell out for sure; makes such an
awesome BG. And the Spring Wreath set … my fave. The font
of the ‘hello’ is really pretty, too. *sigh* Love it all!

Beautiful cards Jess. I love the sizes of these flowers, I always struggle with filling the empty space on a card design but I can see how these stamps and back ground dies make it so beautiful. Also the felt flowers are so cute.
