Good morning and welcome to the June 2017 release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous stamps and dies and they’re all available right now! I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire June release! That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything! There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post plus details on an awesome site-wide sale and freebie with purchase! Today I’m sharing two cards I created for this release and a video!
You can watch the video for my card below or at my Youtube channel!
I started by stamping the gorgeous floral banner from Blossoms and Banners onto grey cardstock with grey ink using my MISTI. I left the stamp on my MISTI lid and then colored it with prismacolor colored pencils. Then I placed the cardstock back inside my MISTI, restamped the image and sentiment with versamark and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder. I die-cut it with the coordinating dies and also die-cut the floral banner with silver glitter paper and layered it behind the grey cardstock to create a glittery shadow. Then I die-cut the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave cover plate die with grey cardstock and adhered the banner with foam mounting tape. Finally I covered the banner with a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle and added a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins to finish the card!
My second card uses the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave cover plate die and the cute I’ll Be Brief gator!
I stamped my gator with copic-friendly ink and colored him with copics. I figured if you’re going to show your underwear you might as well make them sparkly so I added a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle! 😉 I die-cut him with the coordinating dies and layered him over the sentiment banner with foam mounting tape. Finally I die-cut the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave cover plate with white cardstock and added my sentiment! Simple but a humorous masculine card! 🙂
And that’s it for day 1! I’ll be back tomorrow with two more projects and maybe even another video! 😉 To celebrate our release Laura is having a site-wide summer 20% sale on all items except the May and June release items and an AWESOME gift with purchases over $100!
You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below! Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire June release! Good luck!

I love simple cards!

I love the idea of heat embossing AFTER coloring with pencils. I always forget that option & always hem & haw over how to use my pencils and have a heat embossed image at the same time. Thanks for that. Also, that glitter shadow is awesome! Love it!

This is what I love about blog hops. I’m so glad you’re involved in this hop otherwise I wouldn’t have become aware of this company. Love your cards and can’t wait to get a hold of some of these products. We are so sheltered over here in Oz😀
