Good morning and welcome to the final day of the June 2017 release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous stamps and dies and they’re all available right now! I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire June release! That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything! There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post plus details on an awesome site-wide sale and freebie with purchase! Today I’m sharing four cards I created for this release and a video!
I created two cards using the Jar of Flowers stamp set along with other new release items! I was able to create my second card in the video using leftovers from my first card! I love when that happens!
You can watch the video for this watercolor card below or at my Youtube channel!
I used my MISTI to mass stamp lots of flowers and foliage from Jar of Flowers and then arranged them in my little frosted glass jar! I used sentiments from the Whoops set and the Diamond Chevron plate to create the background for my floral arrangement.
My second card uses leftover flowers from my first card with the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave die.
I stamped the sentiment from Whoops and heat-embossed it on kraft cardstock. Then I arranged my cover up die above the sentiment and ran it through my big shot to get the textured basket weave. I arranged my flowers above with regular adhesive and a little foam mounting tape! Easy peasy!
My last two cards remind me of the old Magic Eye books. You know the ones where you were supposed to squint your eyes, turn the page sideways, and magically see some random image?! I feel like one of my cards is kinda like that! 😉
I started by die-cutting the Diamond Chevron cover up plate with teal and white cardstock. Then I adhered the cover up plate to the opposite teal or white cardstock using glossy accents. I made sure to add a little extra glossy accents to the top third of my card where I intended to die-cut my sentiment. Then I ran the Hi word die through both cards and reserved the pieces. For one card I simply added a backing of teal cardstock that I coated with a thick layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle. For the second card I used foam mounting tape to adhere the opposite negative to the card panel resulting in somewhat of a eye-crossing look! 😉
And that’s it for our June release!!
Here’s one last look at all the cards I created for the release! As you can see I had a lot of fun with this one and I met my personal goal of completing a video for each day of the release, hooray! 🙂
To celebrate our release Laura is having a site-wide summer 20% sale on all items except the May and June release items and an AWESOME gift with purchases over $100!
You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below! Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire June release! Good luck!
Happy hopping!!

I’m so glad I watched your video. I love both of these cards and I love that tip of using your misti to handle all of the little flowers and die cuts together. Great idea!
