Good morning and welcome to the August 2017 release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous stamps and dies and they’re all available right now! Today I’m sharing a fun card I created for this release using the adorable Hello Dino and two of our new standalone die sets!
I’m not usually a dinosaur fan but these dinos are so cute and I love all the little layers and options you can add to customize your dinos. I could see tons of uses for these stamps and dies if you’ve got dino-crazy kids or family members! I started by stamping the dino from Hello Dino in light blue ink and then added his spines with a dark navy blue ink. I also stamped the trees onto kraft cardstock using distress oxide inks. I die-cut all the images using the coordinating dies and then set them aside while I worked on the rest of the card.
Next I used the Deco Border Edge die to create the ground for my dino with kraft cardstock. I stamped the sentiments from Hello Dino and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I die-cut the Hello Beautiful Cover Up die from white cardstock and layered it over light blue cardstock to create my sky. I adhered the scene together using regular ATG adhesive and a little foam mounting tape for the dino!
