Good morning and welcome to the first day of the December release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous stamps and dies and they’re all available right now! I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire December release! That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything! There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post! Today I’m showcasing the stunning floral Corner Adorner stamp set, the Friend stamp set and coordinating die, and the Quilted Stitched So Knotty cover up die!
I am head over heels for that gorgeous floral stamp! And the best part, it’s already arranged in a beautiful layout so there’s no masking needed…just stamp and color! I chose to use zig clean color real brush markers as my coloring medium. I stamped the floral image in the bottom corner of a piece of watercolor paper with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder. Next I colored the inner edges of my flowers with a zig marker and blended them out with a damp #4 paintbrush. While that was drying I worked on the rest of my card.
First I die-cut the Friend word with white cardstock and then pressed a versamark pad all over the cardstock before heat-embossing it with the same gold tinsel embossing powder. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the Friend set onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed that down to a thin strip and adhered it over my floral panel. Finally I adhered the glittery Friend word die and added a sprinkling of gold sequins to finish the card.
For my second card I gave the Corner Adorner a little trim and created a whole new look for it! 😉 I started by stamping it onto vellum with versamark and heat-embossing it with silver sparkle embossing powder. Then I fussy cut it and trimmed off some of the excess flowers and leaves to create a smaller curved arrangement.
I die-cut the Quilted Stitched So Knotty cover up die with dark grey cardstock and adhered my vellum arrangement with vellum adhesive. Next I stamped the sentiment from Because (I’ll share more of that set tomorrow!) onto white cardstock and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder. I trimmed that down and adhered it over the vellum. Finally I added a few droplet embellishments.
You should have arrived from Jennifer and Karen is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below! Leave a comment on each stop along the hop and one lucky commenter will win the entire December release!
Happy hopping!!

Love the two different ways of using the same stamp. And I really love the colors of the first card. I am a bit intimidated by masking. So this set is perfect for me. And the Quilted Knotty die adds amazing texture to all cards.

Gorgeous cards, as usual! I am still trying to get over the C9 winter colors card from a few days ago. I had to shamelessly copy that color pallet for my Mom’s winter birthday card. Thanks as always for the inspiration.
