We are releasing coordinating dies for a previous stamp set, two stamp sets with coordinating dies, one cover up die, and four stand-alone die sets! And the best news, everything is available right now! So I won’t be at all offended if you head over to Lil’ Inker Designs and shop! But then you should most definitely come back and hop along with the whole team for a chance to win one of three $15 gift certificates! I’ll have the giveaway details and hop info at the bottom of my post!
Today I’m featuring the last three products in the release: The Little Things stamp set and coordinating dies and the Fringe Scalloped Circle dies.
I put together one more quick video to show you these three products (unfortunately I didn’t have time for a tutorial for my cards) but I hope you enjoy this short introduction! And I’d love to know if these short videos are helpful to you…it’s my first time doing them and I’d love some feedback!
I’ve got several projects today, the first uses a stamp set I showcased yesterday, Doodled Daisies:
If you watched yesterday’s video you saw this card panel. I stamped it just to show off the beautiful designs in the set but liked it so much that I decided to turn it into a card! 😉 Nothing fancy on this card…just lots of stamping! 🙂
My second card also uses Doodled Daisies but in a different way:
You know I love my distress inks, right! 😉 So I stamped the florals with versamark and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I smooshed Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral, and Dried Marigold distress ink onto an acrylic block and painted it onto the background with a large round paintbrush. Once it dried I stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. To finish the card I added a little twine and adhered it to a card base!
This card features The Little Things stamp set and the Fringe Scalloped Circles die. To start I die-cut the scalloped circle with vellum and stamped the sentiment from The Little Things with versamark before heat-embossing it with gold embossing powder. I wove some gold sparkle twine into some of the holes and then set it aside while I worked on the background panel. I stamped the foliage and larger flowers all over a piece of kraft cardstock with versamark. While the versamark was still wet, I pounced on Turquoise and Perfect Gold perfect pearls powder and then brushed it off with a swiffer cloth. Then I stamped the small flowers with a glue pad and rubbed on a little gold flake. Both the perfect pearls and gold flake give the card some sparkle but in very different ways!
My last project uses the Quilted Stitched Spirals cover-up die, the Everyday Word Tag dies, and The Little Things stamps and dies:
Aren’t these birds cute?! I love all the different ways the design team ladies have used these birds…I’ve seen robins, goldfinches, sparrows, but I was inspired by Sarah Jay’s bluebird! I have a beautiful pair of bluebirds who live in my backyard and I thought they were perfect inspiration for my gift card holder! I placed the birds in my MISTI and stamped them several times inking up different areas of the stamp with different colored inks. Once I was done stamping I die-cut them using the coordinating dies. I added the birds’ wings with foam mounting tape for a little dimension and then set them aside to work on the rest of the tag. I ran a piece of light peach cardstock through my Big Shot with the Quilted Stitched Spirals cover up die and then ran it through a second time with the Scalloped Folding Tag Die. I placed my Starbucks gift card inside the tag and then wrapped a piece of white cardstock around the tag to keep it closed. I used the Stitched Rectangle Mats to cut the stitched border to give it a more finished edge. Finally I added the sentiment tag from Everyday Word Tag dies and a little twine and ribbon to finish the tag!
So that’s our July release! I’ve linked all the products below but I’d love to hear if you have a particular favorite!! Thank you all so much for your warm welcome to the Lil’ Inker Designs family!
