Good morning! I’m back with a collection of tags featuring several stamps and dies from the October 2016 release of Lil’ Inker Designs! Today I’m using Moody Santa stamps and dies, All the Christmas You’ll Ever Need stamps, Filled Christmas Trees stamps, and Stitched Christmas Tree dies! And we’ve got a special surprise regarding our release giveaway…make sure you check out the bottom of my post for details!!
First up is a cheeky gift card tag using the Moody Santa stamps and dies!
I started by stamping my santa with copic friendly ink and coloring him with copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to die-cut him and then set him aside while I worked on the rest of the tag. I die-cut the Scalloped tag with two patterned papers and adhered them back to back. I stamped the sentiment onto the front of the tag with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Finally I adhered my santa to the tag and added some ribbon!
Next I created tree-shaped tags using the Filled Christmas Tree stamps and Stitched Christmas Tree dies. I stamped the trees onto watercolor paper with versamark and heat-embossed them with gold tinsel embossing powder. Then I painted them with my zig clean color real brush markers and a damp paintbrush. Once they dried I die-cut them with the Stitched Christmas Tree dies. I also die-cut the trees with red cardstock.
I stamped the ‘to’ from Sending Sentiments with versamark on the red tree and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I scored the red tree near the top and then adhered the area above the score line to the back of the watercolored tree to create a folding tag. Finally I added holiday twine and ribbon to create the tag!
My last tag is a super easy tag that’s quick to create for a last minute Christmas gift! I’m a big fan of gift cards (especially coffee gift cards) and this sentiment from All the Christmas You’ll Need is perfect! I die-cut the gift card with patterned paper and then stamped the sentiment on the front with versamark before heat-embossing it with white embossing powder. Finally I added a little green and white baker’s twine to add a little color and texture!
And that’s it for me for day two! I’ll be back tomorrow with a few traditional Christmas cards!
