Good morning and welcome to the final day of the October release for Lil’ Inker Designs! We’ve introduced a bunch of adorable holiday stamps and dies over the last three days and they’re all available now! Don’t forget to comment for a chance to win the entire October release!! Today I’m sharing three cards featuring the Tis’ the Season stamps, All the Christmas You’ll Ever Need stamps, Moody Santa stamps, Rustic Christmas stamps, Merry Christmas border die, and the Merry Christmas Word die!
First up are two cards using Tis’ the Season!
This is such a fun stamp to color that I wanted to keep the focus on the stamp and practice my copic coloring! 😉 I stamped the bird and the sentiment on white cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I colored him with copic markers, trimmed down the panel, and added a few green sequins. To finish the card I added a strip of silver foil to the card base and then adhered the panel over it.
Next was my first attempt at a chalkboard card. I’ve never made one before and I’m not sure how successful I was but it was fun to give it a try!
I stamped my bird onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed him with white embossing powder. Then I added a little shading with a white colored pencil. Next I added a little white pigment ink to my bird and to the edges of my card panel with a stencil brush.
I die-cut the Merry Christmas border die with red cardstock and then added a strip of gold foil tape to disguise the stamped banner. To finish the card I adhered the red cardstock over the gold foil. It’s hard to photograph but I love how the gold foil helps separate the sentiment from the stamped image.
And, of course, I couldn’t do a release without a shaker card! I stamped the pine bough and holly leaves and berries from Rustic Christmas onto watercolor paper with distress ink and then blended them out with a damp paintbrush. I die-cut a square frame from red cardstock, adhered acetate behind the frame, and filled it with sequins and beads before sealing the shaker with the watercolor panel. Finally I die-cut the Merry Christmas word die from red cardstock, pressed a versamark pad all over it, and heat-embossed it with ultra high embossing powder to create a dimensional sentiment. I used glossy accents to adhere the sentiment to my shaker to finish the card.
My last card uses that cute Moody Santa stamps and dies with a sentiment from All the Christmas You’ll Ever Need and background trees from Rustic Christmas.
I stamped the santa, colored him with copic markers, and die-cut him with the coordinating dies. Then I die-cut a white and red card panel with the Silly Stitched dies. I stamped the trees from Rustic Christmas using generation stamping and stamped the sentiment in versafine before heat-embossing it with clear embossing powder. I angled the white panel over the red panel and then adhered my santa to finish the card!
And that’s it for me!! I hope you enjoyed our October release and I can’t wait to see what you create with all of the new products!! ?
