Challenge #127, sponsored by Ellen Hutson, is to use a flower or two in your creation! One lucky winner will win a $25 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson!
Here’s how I incorporated flowers into my card! 😉
No-line watercoloring is still a bit of a struggle for me but I decided to give it a try for the challenge! I masked off a section of my card and blended Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean distress ink to create a subtle landscape. I stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I blended a little distress ink onto the grass die-cuts and adhered them to my card. I stamped the flowers, snail, and grass from Gleeful Gardens onto watercolor paper with Antique Linen distress ink. Then I smooshed distress inks onto an acrylic block and used a waterbrush to paint each image. Once they dried I fussy cut them and adhered them to the card front with a mix of ATG adhesive and foam mounting tape for dimension!
Thanks so much for visiting! For more information on how to join the challenge and additional inspiration from the rest of the design team check out the Lawnscaping blog!

Such a fab card and you did great on the colouring. I had a look at all of my LF stamp sets last night after seeing the new challenge prompt and I found one teeny tiny flower on the cactus set. So I guess I will have to come up with a plan if I want to play along, which will be my first time…
