Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge and we’re challenging you to create a rainbow with your entry! There are endless ways that you can interpret this challenge and we can’t wait to see what you do with it! 😉
This time our fabulous friends at Lawn Fawn are sponsoring this challenge and one lucky winner will win a stamp set of your choice!! Here’s what I came up with:
I wanted to keep it simple and really focus on the rainbow aspect! I started by smooshing distress inks onto a craft mat, liberally wet a piece of watercolor paper, and then painted the distress inks onto the paper overlapping the colors so they would blend together. I let it dry naturally and then pressed a versamark pad all over the paper. Next I heat-embossed it with holographic embossing powder and then die-cut it with a stitched rectangle die. I layered the rainbow panel onto white cardstock and then adhered it to a black card base. I die-cut the Scripty Hello from black cardstock and heat-embossed it with ultra high embossing powder for a glossy look. I adhered the die-cut word to the rainbow panel and then added a sprinkling of glossy black and sparkling clear sequins!
Head over to the Lawnscaping blog to get all the details on the challenge and see the stunning creations from the rest of the design team! I look forward to seeing what you will create! Thanks so much for visiting and have a great Monday!

I’ll just bet this card glows with the Holographic e/p on it. It’s really beautiful in your photo but probably not as beautiful as it is in real life.
