Challenge #137, sponsored by Ellen Hutson, is to add real or faux texture to your creation! One lucky winner will win a $25 gift certificate to Ellen Hutson!
Here’s my card:
I’m starting to stock up on Christmas cards for the year and decided to use various dies, embossing powders, paints, and embellishments to get a variety of texture in my card. I started by die-cutting the snowflakes with blue and white cardstock. Then I pressed a versamark pad over them and heat-embossed some with holographic embossing powder and some with silver embossing powder. Then I splattered silver paint across a white card panel. I stamped the sentiment in versamark and heat-embossed it with silver embossing powder. Finally I adhered the snowflakes across the card panel and added a sprinkling of sparkling clear sequins and clear droplets.
Thanks so much for visiting! For more information on how to join the challenge and additional inspiration from the rest of the design team check out the Lawnscaping blog!
