And we are so happy to be celebrating with all of you and all of our amazing friends! So please join us the next 3 days while we showcase our new Anniversary Release! We just cannot express how blessed we feel to be able to do this for the past 9 years and we owe it all to YOU!
Let’s Stomp to it!
Good morning friends! I am so honored and excited to be guesting for Mama Elephant’s Anniversary Stampede today! I had the opportunity to play with the adorable Penguins Go Skating set and created a three dimensional scenescape card!
To start I stamped all the penguins from Penguins Go Skating with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder before coloring them with copic markers. I used cool greys for the penguins, toner greys for their skates, and neutral greys for their puffy hats. I used BV02, BV13, BV04, and BV08 for the purple accessories and RV13, RV14, RV25, and RV29 for the pink accessories. Once I was done coloring I die-cut all the images with the coordinating dies.
Next I die-cut all the pieces of the Scenescape Builder and used a hilly border to create my ski hill. I blended tumbled glass onto the edges of all the snowy pieces and then blended the sky with prize ribbon, shaded lilac, and kitsch flamingo. I also die-cut birch trees to tuck amongst the snowy hills and stamped a sentiment from Scripty Xmas. I adhered the card together with a mix of double-sided tape and liquid glue! I love that it folds completely flat and can be stuck in a regular letter size envelope for mailing!
